Steve grew up in Syracuse, attended Colgate University, then moved to Boston where he joined a vibrant comedy scene and began to edit and direct short films while working at a post house.  He sold a 30 minute comedy film to A&E, then moved to LA to attend AFI.

He has edited for Larry David, Peter and Bobby Farrelly, Greg Mottola, Jeff Schaffer, James Bobin, Steve Levitan, Kenya Barris, and Dave Mandel.  He won an ACE Eddy for Veep, as well as two ACE awards for HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Steve won the Emmy for editing the “Palestinian Chicken” episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
