Ethan Maniquis started in the film industry on the cult hit “From Dusk till Dawn” written by Quentin Tarantino, directed by Robert Rodriguez. He worked his way up to editor on such visionary films as “Desperado” and “Sin City”. 

Moving on to Miramax films during the indie film movement of the late 90’s, highlights include the ‘Spy Kids’ films starring Antonio Banderas, “Planet Terror” with Bruce Willis, and the thriller “Secuestro Express,” Venezuela’s highest-grossing film ever.

Ethan went on to co-direct the worldwide box office hit “Machete” for 20th Century Fox.

Recent credits include editing “Hands of Stone” starring Robert Deniro, additional editing on “Kidnap” starring Halle Berry,  “Asking for it” starring Vanessa Hudgens, “Discussion Materials,” and directing and editing Spanish-language film “Limonada,” filmed in the Dominican Republic.
